I got a hold of a broken TDI and it did not come with a battery. When I run it from a powersupply at 12V only the red light comes on. I need 15V to get all 3 Led's on.
The wavy threshold is more stable at 15V also. I was going to use 3 3.7V lithium batteries to power it as I thought 16V was max....

Hello. I found this Russian forum of IDX-PRO PCB. The PCB had many mistakes and failures of some components. I corrected the PCB and added the missing components. I have in my possession a very lightly used original Deepstar. The problem I have is the detector will power on okay with a strong audio but after several seconds the detector threshold dies away to nothing and nothing can be heard….I have to power cycle to get the detector working...07-21-2026, 10:53 AM -
