Hi Ivica.
For me geshi has right.What he made? Only he wanted to sent us a file for Minelab (and thanks). For me it was easy to download the file. The password is needing to unzip the file.

I was to pissed off to cleary distinguish here what about i am pissed off!
I am not pissed off on Geshi. I am not spiting on Geshi. I dont even know a man. Why should i spit on him?
I just wanted to point to him and others that in future we should avoid sending files on remote servers. Better to find a way and post files directly here. Is file to big? There is solution for that. Shrink it...simply as that.
Dont want to register? Why? What is the reason? Are we, other registered members here, stupid? When registering here....you dont need to give your full datas. nobody pushing you to give real name,surname,location...Nobody.
I have nothing to hide here, so i gave my real name....But if you dont want to show up your real identity here....fine..nobody pushing you at all. It is your discretional right! I have nothing against that.
I just dont want to torture myself by visiting remote servers highly poluted with viruses,trojans,adawares and simillar trash.
Many times i had schematic in high resolution, 4-5mB large...Cant fit it here....OK than i used some tool like ACDSEE or simillar...Corel maybe...and shrinked it to size which can fit here...so it is easy to upload it...
If you gave .pdf file to large, easy job is to copy to clipboard, paste to Corel Photo Paint and export in some .jpg,.gif or any other suitable format. Also is easy to shrink it to fit here....What is the problem here? I dont see any problem at all...
Geshi is "Geshi", right? Why dont he register as "Geshi" and join the membership here.... He is welcome as i am concerned. If he dont want that than fine by me...again farewell...I have no hard feelings...neither good...i am 100% neutral on him.
But i am pissed off to much on remote servers and simillar staff from internet...I am to tired to spend hours infront of my pc, by doing nothing smarter than fighting against malicious software infiltrated in my system....Instead of that i could set up good software and spend that time working something usefulll...isnt that right?
Anyway.....if you think that i offended Geshi...ok than i apologise to Geshi.

Personally I use Norton AntiVirus for protection against viruses and spyware. I also have the firewall enabled. While there are unscrupulous people polluting the internet, it really makes sense to pay out the extra for good anti-virus software. Most people don't actually realise that for a miserly subscription of £30 a year you can protect up to 3 separate computers with the same license.

Don't waste your time with the free stuff. I recently removed 17 viruses from a friend's computer after he let his Norton AntiVirus expire and loaded a freeware checker instead. It found and removed over 600 unused or incorrect entries my Windows registry. These problems build up naturally over time, and cause your system to run slower and slower. Recently I ran the Disk Defragmenter and this free registry cleaner, and there was a noticeable difference in response time.

I dont use neither one antivirus soft. Actually i do have almost all versions of all software here at my home. You can only imagine how many are there at 1200 CD's i have right now. And over 400 CD's with various DivX movies, 200 CD's with various electronics...etc.etc...
I am sort of collector,collecting everything for pc...since 1989. first time i bought some pc. It was IBM XT at 4,8 and 10MHz...
But....from time to time i do install some soft and check my system. Sometimes i found some malicious soft, sometimes dont. Adawares man can find almost everytime when connect to internet...not a big deal.
My favorite tools are Kaspersky, AVG, Avast,NOD32, Panda.....
For system maintneance i do use RegCleaner and CCcleaner....
NAV i don use at all. Simply i dont like it at all. It is slowing my pc so much....breaks my nervs oftenly. And i do have very fast machine, i tell you....I have Siemens P4....also have Dell working station with 2 P3 on board and 2 USCSI-2 h.disks....
So you better beleive me when i tell you this things about various software.
Neither one, and i will repeat; NEITHER one of mentioned softs will never fully protect you. Not possible! No matter if you update it frequently....
So...knowing this already i simply choosed to work with "unprotected" pc...
Work is comfortable, easy...no stucks, no problems at all. Only problems occurs when visiting some "servers".
I usually do not surf arround randomly. Risk to be infected is minimal if you do know what are you doing for real...on the .net.
But my "genetic" curiosity is pushing me from time to time to make some stupid move and visit some usecured place...That's how i get infected.
That's why i do backups every week or two, or every month, mostly depends of "material" i storaged in that period on my disks.
If hardly infected...piece of cake. Reinstall windows again, with all software included...usually Corel,Office,DXP,ACDSEE,Winamp and few small things more.
It is piece of cake cose i already have reserve disk with all installed and setuped properly....Only thing i have to do is to use GHOST on infected drive....
So i 'll rather use pc "exempted" of any borring,anoying antivirus package than hardly equiped with tons of stupid antiviruses...in most of cases they actually are acting like viruses too!?
But...this is strictly subjective....do whatever you like, it is your choice..

I think we need a little calm down here !
What's happened now ? What are that bad words ?

I think we have to leave that approach on this board... making some serious discussion about topics, not using insults and the like.

Now about the file sharing thing: ok maybe it works and file isn't corrupted etc... but why using that things for a small picture anyone can upload here without any pain ?

C'mon stop using that sharing services unless there's a serious reason of doing that way. It's not good that with all the stuff floating around that "services" someone will infect the PC and have troubles with trojan and viruses... malaware etc etc etc

If file is small there's no reason of using that funny "services": please use the forum upload that's just a button under your submit.

Then about bad words ... please don't waste your time uploading just bad words... we need schematics, mods, coil data etc... not bad words here.

Personal attacks ??? Please avoid that. It's really difficault stopping that thing when it starts ...expecially true if use a mix of different languages.

If someone would like to speak his native language why don't play with some chat or instant messaging program ?

This is an international board and we use english here... and people who wanna leave an active contribute must use that common language.
