Here an aluminium square form can be used for absorptive pistol or two boxes. One was disambled... with drill.

Gold platted from old NCR PCB, 3 pics. See the big areas.
All the lines are platted in gold in this PCB. Keep for
use in gold classifier for pistol. See at right of big
photo the place of the xtal.
You hot the lines and "dis-paste" slowly.

No info found of this Motorola IC! Before go garbage these "peeling" PCB, wish to know what are some components. This is a case.

Perforated resistors! Strange for me! But the holes don't trespassing the resistors. Also strange values as 4.720 K, 91.100 K, etc., and white final band.

This is very good way to get parts - you earn it by work. Sometimes leads too short but depends on needs. So much value is thrown away, especially old computers. Very good idea. Someday there will be no more through-hole parts made, only surface mount, so good to gather collection of these parts.

                    Regards,

                    -SB

I have many and need to dissamble all the PCBs because problem with space...

Also a friend gove me a box of ceramic capacitors, thousands... But I noticed that Mial brand is very stable and accuracy, all values I have since 4 pF to 220 nF, some of these 95 pF 3 KV, etc.

                            Hi,
well... will require lot of time I think, but often you can gain good recycled components that way and it's worth, expecially if you haven't much electronic stores near you or dealers.

But all that soldering stuff requires you'll catch the fumes, some filter I mean. Or do you work just with the window opened ??? (like me, on winter.... when burnt the filter! and on budget! )

                            Kind regards,
                            Max

Yes, I remember. But also you can mount in it oscillator, etc, small projects for to test.

                              Regards
