Hi Mr. Bill,

I am wanting to mod my Original Surfmaster PI and I see you do them. I know you do the mods for a small fee however I would really like to try it myself. I see you have helped others and I am wondering if you could do the same for me. Please shoot me a PM or post here if you can help. Like I say it is a Surfmaster PI model. I don't know exactly what Bill's mod entails but in any case it is absolutely not a good thing for you to attempt to mod your detector without having a dual trace oscilloscope and some experience.

Change that to ...PROBABLY not a good thing for you to attempt to mod your detector without having a dual trace oscilloscope and some experience! Part of a good mod might include changing one-shot timing and I think the schmitt trigger one-shots can be tricky to setup properly.

Thanks for the reply! This is the kinda info I needed to know. I did not know that you needed another piece of equipment to do it. This makes the cost from
bill reasonable.I was not doubting his work or price I just like to tinker with things myself. If I cant do it on my own then oh well time to send it off and get it done. Thanks again!

no problem with this. you send your Surf PI overseas, in Lithuania, and I do all these mods on reasonable price. it will be first time I will do the mod on Surf though, but hope I will get first experience.
