This thread will list errata for ITMD3.

In both Tables of Contents, the Appendices are listed as Chapter A, etc. They should have been listed as Appendix A, etc. This has been corrected in books marked "3.01" (top of the copyright page).

The following have been corrected in the book revision marked "3.02":

p571, last paragraph: 14.88ms and 47ms should be 14.88us and 47us.

p563, Fig C-5 was incorrectly normalized to "1", whereas it should have been semi-normalized in the same manner as Fig C-4 & Fig C-6. The second paragraph on p565 talks about the 500us target in Fig C-5 having a peak current of "2.4" while the plot shows a peak of "1". The plot should look like this:


I have also changed the y-axis in C-5 and C-6 to say "Semi-Normalized" to match C-4.

The following will be corrected in the next minor revision (3.03):

p159: last paragraph, "depends on exactly how the “D”s9 are shaped" should be "depends on exactly how the “D”s are shaped".

p417: "Because depletion capacitance varies with reverse voltage many capacitor data sheets" should be "Because depletion capacitance varies with reverse voltage many diode data sheets".

The schematic for the Bipolar PI design (Pulse5) has several errors. The schematic (Figs 23-18 through 23-21) has been updated along with some of the explanatory text on p454. These 5 pages are in the PDF below.

Fig 23-11 (p446) is wrong. It should look like this:

That is, the "Q4-on" waveforms are flipped.

3.04 changes:

• Fixed Fig 23-11
• Edited the footnote on p113 so that the URL fits on one line
• Fixed the schematic on p610 -- it was slightly getting cropped
• Added Nexus to the logos p612 (sorry Georgi, it was an oversight)

Likewise, Fig 17-14 shows "78Hz" at the base of Q5; it should be 156Hz.
