Carl-NC I was very glad to learn about the differences in ground mineralization relating to Magnetite vs Maghemite. This explains quite a lot about my often difficult red dirt hunting sites. Will you please expand on how VRM effects detector performance(both IB and PI) and what practical steps are/can be used to address this challenge by designers & field users. I know the latest updates from Rutus & Nokta have made good strides on this, allowing better target acquisition at depth in Maghemite type soils.
