Check any supplier of crutches - those are not very different from what you need. I got a pair of those for ~15 Eur.

I have one of these stems that someone sent me some time ago. It's collapses down really small, and the quality is great. The only problem is that the part that attaches to the coil is a non-standard size.
Try sending them an email to find out the price.

yes i know him from german forum
and i know the dealers of the stem
but i hoped that i could find a good solutionfrom our eastern europe friends or that i can find the manufacturer of that stem
maybe something same black coloured or with lower part of carbon fibre or glass fibre and standard 18mm mount

ich now that the base of this stem is a monpod from the photo and video equipment
but the lower part and the mountings are some special part
it seems that someone mods the monopods to dwtector shaft

and under the line i would buy a stem but 130 euro for a monopd and some specail mountings nooo

        90€ sounds friendlier to me

many thanks for your answers until here

        kind regards

There's a similar stem on the UK ebay.
It's a Minelab Relic Hawk straight shaft. Seems to be a square, rather than a triangular, section.

            hello
i´ve ordered a stem from tb electronics in germany
wrote with owner i pay 106 euro for stem without mounting platform on grip
i think thats a fair price in relation to original minelab straight shaft
lower part for detector mount has a width of 19mm with 6mm hole
heared nothing bad about it at moment
            will see

i plan a nice very lightweight strong pi unit witout microcontroller for next beach season

hope i can realize the plan

            regards and thanks for help

I've just found the one I have, and the coil mounting does have 19mm width, but there are two rubber washers that increase the width to 21.5mm. The washers are a hard material and cannot be compressed easily. The only coil that it seems to fit is a old Garrett Crossfire, although it [almost] fits a Minelab Tornado, albeit very loosely. It certainly cannot be attached to a Tesoro coil, or any of the Bulgaian coil shells. The one you've ordered will no doubt be a newer version, so I hope you have more luck.
