    They come up on eBay on a regular basis, I paid $400 or $500 for mine.

        Heavy.
        Durable.

                      I didn't do much testing with it. The Recon comes with a stainless firing pin target embedded in the end of a plastic stick. I tested the Recon with this target and it barely detects it, and so did the TDI. The TDI may have been a hair weaker. I don't recall any other results.
