too expensive, lots of pinpointer options out there way cheaper, the kind of detectorist who go's for bells and whistles on a pointer buy minelab or garrett, imho.
its like they said "whats the most we can get for this" if detectorists want a chinese pointer they will buy a bounty hunter for 35 quid, not trying to be funny or harsh, but anything chinese in this forum is a hard sell, at a hundred quid this wont get a second look.

Compare to bounty hunter detector is expensive . But it do have 30USD~60USD difference between Propointer and Pro-find. The waterproof ability and control is better than PP. I think you won't compare the BH pinpointer with Propointer because there are too much differences no matter the depth and the construction ect.
Yes most Chinese producer just make cheap products with no after-service. Or just make copy products. I am trying to change this condition.
And yes it is hard to sell Chinese products here. So I post it here to welcome suggestions from metal detector gurus here on Geotech.

the first offer you gave was about 60$ and payment via paypal shiping via dhl to germany up to $20
ok until here
but what you forget
i have no and i mean absolutely no guarantee
in every case i have to pay tax on imported goods plus additional fees for good over 22€ (it are 19% import tax and around 2% for service)

for me that means i can also buy a garrett pro pointer from uk, germany or austria in range of 120-150€
and i have full service, guarantee etc.

if i spent 99$ for a pp from china plus additional fees/tax

it must contain at least pulsinduction or target ton identification iron / noniron

i know you will offer a pulsinduction pinpointer the next weeks too
but for what price? 150 bucks?

no not with me for this i can do at least 2 units by myself

be innovating and no copying and you get what you earn

at moment i can see nothing new what could be a motivation for buying from
not a good price an no special features

you can also ask how to do, why not

then make something innovative with moderate pricing
try to find dealers which take care for service or make direct sales whith good service by your own

and bust away all the overpriced pinpointer which we can buy at the moment

Hi, Bernte, Thanks for your attention. I am glad to reply you here. I read your post here for years.
You should contacted with our colleague Jean. We will have stock in Germany and will resolve the tax problem and delivery problem.
That's the way we do in USA and will do in Australia.
We are not going to release a PI pp with DISC. Maybe will focus on in line probe like SUN RAY. And a under 200F water pinpointer. We are resolving the controlling right now.
The position of the Xpointer is lower price than G and M. Same or better sensitivity than both. Digital control like M.

The reason I post here, again, is not just for selling but more for discussion.

in this case i think your posting are welcome, this is one of the very rare moments where the end customer is involved in marketing concept and maybe the endproduct
i did not wrote pi with tone disc
it was p.i. or something ele with tone disc

in europe we have the problem that the ground is contamined by several thousand years of war and that means much iron


if you have a selling base in europe we have no more problems
i often buy chines goods directly from frankfurt am main or hamburg also from uk location
most items arrive within one week without any problems with duty tax / and customers office

so keep us informed

if we had the deal last month (i was in email contact with some of your female customers service personal)

i had already made this product (xpointer) public an least in german forum and we could discuss over features

Hi WM6,
I will try to find a qualify repair station in the future. Recently we will ship back to our factory and sent back.
But most important is to make the products tough enough to stay with daily use. We invest many time on the physical structure to make it better than competitor on waterproof ability ect.
I hope it do not come back for repair once it is out of stock no matter due to our parts or mistake using.

got my pointer today, first impression is very good
i dissambled the hole unit to find weak points- but i can´t for now and also to test if the sevice could be done by user (remove dust or condensed water)
i broke off one of the onboard switches while removing the pcb (the one which is longer - mode switch) it was my mistake and only my mistake
but it is easy to solder a new one for me have some of them here, for all which want do do also first remove the rubber buttons from outside than remove pcb from enlosure

i have also made some pictures and marked pints where i would suggest to take special care
i would send them to you

pinpointer is done very good

p.s. i stand not in relation with producer (not relatives, not buisness partner)


the only i would say which can be added is a tone id (you have a micro controller so way not programm to produce tone1 when frequency increase and and tone2 when frequency decrease)

Yes it need to take all rubber buttons off to take off PCB. All parts are easy to take off.
I am very interested in the tone disc function. We can talk in mail if you can assist us to realize it in commercial
As you can see I add a silicone ring on the LED to aid the water resistance ability. I spray PCB coating to protect it hurt by moisture.The buzzer protection is covered by professional waterproof audio film so you can rinse detector without cover it by thumb.

for that what i have seen and tested yesterday i would say it is a good pinpointer

most cry for more depht and power on pinpointers but i think it is nonsense
a pinpointer is for pin pointing and not for detecting hughe area

the pointer gives you what promised and also some more (usefull) functions than others

but only real field use can show whats good or not good

i cannot say to you buy or not this is your decision

i would only say good made, good price, good communication with seller
