lm318 is good on slew rate but we must use just JFET/mos-fet opamp. ne5534 does not work too, that was checked by russians.
look datasheet lt1122, op42, ad845.

can a. LF353P chip be used instead of a LF357N chip?

No! 353 is a double amplifier and 357 is a single amplifier. Their pinouts are different.

can anyone tell me of a PCB board in general that they know of, that you will be able to take a used LF357N chip off.

I do not know where you can find a used, but working LF357. However, you can search for any of these integrated circuits, which are similar to LF357:
AD744, AD845, AD877, OP42, LT1122, TLE2071, TLE2081, OPA637.
As a last resort, you can use LF356, but this is incomplete replacement

250v better than 50v. you must learn what is ESR and why ESR is so important in sample and hold circuit.

yes. you can use any CRT HORIZONTAL DEFLECTION HIGH VOLTAGE DAMPER DIODE that you can take
from any CRT TVset and any PC CRT monitor using popular trash technology among poor class people ("small people").
do not buy nothing for my projects. take parts from electronic garbage.
