oh. i did trip in capitol to buy the wire. in shop i did look all wires were on selling. i choiced 'fat'.
bought 100m. i did 16 turns, but do less, 12 is good. so it was 64m length.
i had read amazing note from one russian that for DP coil has to be 1.2mH. really we do not still have full data of DP coils.
you have to do experiment.

Sub for DD1 74HC4538N has a different RC time constant: The duration and accuracy of the output pulse are determined by the externaltiming components CEXT and REXT. The output pulse width (tW) is equal to0.7 ? REXT ? CEXT.

i do not have full kit of 4538s to check. just CD4538 does not sure work, checked by me.

salute KT 0.75 mm cable 17 coils wrapped for 1x1m. 2 ohms and 900mh inductance are measured. Is it suitable for delta?

thanks KT master. The delta pcb I got from you works great. 30cm coil. Detects 1 coin from a distance of 40cm.

Ordered a DP board on 6/17, in hand on 6/25 to the West coast of USA. It really looks nice! Wife wanted to know why I was getting mail from Lithuania LOL.

Hi kt315,

I am having a difficult time finding the correct chip for DD1 and DD2. On the schematic, I don't see the VDD and VSS connections, but I am guessing that the chips are being powered with 10v. I don't want to buy from China or Ebay, doing whole order from Digikey as I have always done for my small hobby business.

I have found this part and would like to know if you think it meets the specification. https://www.digikey.com/products/en/...=1&pageSize=25

It is rated up to 20V input.

CD4538 is nice and i believe they work, but it does not work in DP with general RC circuit.
i wasted much time to grasp this fact. one guy from France sent me board with this problem and i wasted
nerve to understand that the problem in the micros themself.
they give stochastic 2-3us wide signal and all, not controlled.
i believe they will work with splitted RC circuits, ie individual RC on every one.
so i do not recommend to use those micros in DP.
as about I don't see the VDD and VSS connections i will give screenshoots.
