our prices in shops are unoptimal because the components are same like chinese going through Sweden stocks and dealers.
the prices grow in progression.
optimal prices are to order from chinese directly and to do a board on SMDs. but SMD boards are hard to solder for majority of people with low knowledge and low level.
so this way is also unoptimal - nobody will be interested in the SMD boards.

a voltage is low. you need 1500 V = or > than 10 Amper diode. 6A6 I see a datasheet 600V and 6A. a case is unequipped for an radiator tier.

nice but why you use 0,5 Watt resistors??? you can use 0,075 Watt resistors if you can not get 0,25 or 0,125W ones around.

more capacitance will be may be better in some cases. if sizes are allowing you can set 330...470... 680... 1000 uF etc.

1Nxxx is US made markings standart for diodes, I believe. nothing of similar markings in chinese production. only 1/2W (0.5W) 8.2V

I hope there will be first working mexican DP very SOON!

PA1 - 50 or 100 NOT MILLI-amper, but MICRO-amper my friend (1/1 000 000). this is why written uA, but not mA.

T1-T7 not for wire, these are test points, for checking by o-scope.
GND -12V(=12) -E(=E) are test points, for tester measure if there will be necessity. also NO WIRE. (in P-CAD a sign (-) is restricted for designation, so I used a sign (=))

the large holes carries +E via R59 (+E is battery clemma PLUS, directrly connected to PCB) so corps of the pots will be touched to shielded layer inside the housing.
you may check it by tester that the large holes go on R59 and more nowhere. the copper (or aluminum) shielded plate is connected also to +E but via R60.
this is standart way for impulse detector to shield from +, ir MOS-FET is N-channel structure, example is Hammerhead, and from -, if MOS-FET is P-channel,
example is SURF PI. in our case we have N-channel and shielding we take from +E.

my friend, use any type of pots. my board is universal. either 2,5-2,54 mm pin step pots or 5,0-5,08 mm pin step all pots fit the board.
yes you certainly can do pots on wires carring, as you want.
