Do you recommend metal body and shaft or plastic ?

places/placements of the pots on board are universal. you can use any pots with 5/5.04mm or 2.5/2.54mm pin step.
with metal body pots you have to shield them by one naked wire soldered on their enclosure.
my albums show that way.
you can choice pots with long shaft or short, how you want.

What is size of Connectors for battery and coil and speaker?

i rewent into more popular novaday 'screw Terminal Block Connector 5.08mm Panel Pcb Mount' because people
set it while my board was done not for them. i must go in direction what people want.
i bought them for to measure their sizes because i did not present what it is.

for speaker i use desoldered connectors male-female from oldie pcbs.

sometimes you have to learn to use active flux for connectors, to irradiate pins and wash its by alcohol before you will place the socket on board, because
steel maybe not covered by the solder, meant naked steel.

chinese always economize on:
1. copper
2. any material
3. steel
4. nickel
5. leave the connectors pins without solder cover

at first you have to attempt to solder IC socket pin and if you notice it is not soldered then use active fux. irradiate all pins, wash them up by alcohol,
just then set the socket on board.
another way you will get big problem, unsoldered pins, and the painful headaches.

my board is projected under RV09 type pots 'horizontal shaft' but i noticed people do not want use them.
main problem there is not 500k/470k value one.

i hope you will seek the treasure. job with ramka coil in winter is hard. DP seeks very much metal on bottom of the lakes.
main problem is how to lift that up from 2...3....4 meters of deep, not to find something on bottom. search magnet does not lift big metal.
you have to plan where seek the treasure, not me. i went all this way.
i use 1x1 m coil. people asked me about how to do small coil and i did it. for bara.








now i do not have working DP and do not ask me about hunting. all boards were released. DP in pics was sold much years ago.
