probe x10 divider applies to VOLTAGE ('Y' AXIS :: VERTICAL AXIS),
NOT TO THE TIMING ('X' AXIS :: HORIZONTAL AXIS).

        • So the pot to "full anti-clock" was 100uS Pulse Width.
The pot to "full clock" was 410uS.
          The difference is 310uS.
          Correct ?
Why this board didn't achieve 500uS pulse width?
Should I perform the next test?

good Q. now you have to find a component which value you have to change to get needed this 500us (we need 150...500us range).
            without hint from my side.

            • I wonder how many people on this can answer this question.
Post #515 and #702 of this thread discusses C4, R7, C5. R1, R4. (I have used precise values as written in BOM

I want to complete this board in the earliest . Lets continue doing further tests. In the meanwhile i search for answer of your question.

Value of C3 !5nf and R4 6k2 responsible for pulse width.
I have used the same values in my board.

                • good. measure C3 and tell the value.
                  now increase 15nF to 18nF C3.

C3 installed on my board is 15nf 100V.

I have 100nf 250V and 22nf in green colour and also yellow colour available. There is no 18nf in stock.

                    • MEASURED VALUE I ASKED -!!!! EVERY COMPONENTS MUST BE MEASURED BEFORE BEING INSTALLED ON BOARD.

I have no instrument to measure capacitance. The capacitor written value is 15n 100v.

I have 15nf 250V in green color and in yellow colour ceramic. Also i have 22nf .

                        • I tested with a 22nf 63v and pulse widh in 150uS to 620uS

                          I tested with 15nf 250V and pulse width is 100uS to 440uS.

                          I tested with 20nf 200V and pulse width is 100uS to 600uS.

                          • Kt315 I like 22nf 100v green capacitor because it is giving me 150uS to 640uS. I hope this will give me more depth. Is this acceptable ?

                            • why you run for depth? 3 meters is not enough? you want 6 meters?? who told you that 600us will work on your groung stabile?
me??? leave this matter out. set 15 and forget all i did tell you above.

                              • I am going to install 15nf 250v.I will buy 18nf and other as soon as i have completed all the tests.
Lets do all tests so i know which parts to buy.
