If you want a target indicator (VDI), then go for either a Cortes or a DeLeon. Alternatively, if you can find one, get a Laser Hawkeye. This is the UK version of the DeLeon, but (interestingly) the PCB is marked as a Cortes. So these detectors are all versions of the same design.
The Hawkeye is excellent on small hammered coins, and works superbly in trashy areas.

The Hawkeye is not a relic hunter, as it has ferrous/non-ferrous discrimination.

Anyway, you didn't specify nugget hunting.
You stated your criteria as:
1: good discrimination
2: Best On Small target
3: and good On Deep
