  • Round Handle to Flat Control Box Spacers For Sale

I am now able to offer these for sale to those who have issues mounting a round tube handle shaft to a flat control box.
These spacers provide a really nice fit that takes up the void of mounting a round tube directly to a flat box.
Couldn't get White's to sell me any, forced to make my own over the years.

Just made 3 molds so I can produce these and offer them reasonably to anyone that wants some.

Spacers are cast using black potting epoxy.
They will need some finishing sanding along the edges to remove some flash. Can then be wet sanded for a flat look.
You will have to drill the holes where you need them.

    1 1/8" wide, 3/8" high, 4" long

Price will be $20.00 for 3 plus shipping, roughly $9-13.00+ depending upon destination.
    US Funds, I accept Paypal

It must be your browser. I can see the picture just fine in the original post.

Just visited the website using Firefox, and the picture doesn't show up.
Works ok in Chromium though (which I mainly use) but doesn't show up with Firefox, Chrome or Explorer. Very strange.

Confirming that the re-post of the image looks fine. I suspect the HTML tags were a bit garbled it the first post and only one browser coped with it.

That looks a very useful item.

For what it's worth, if you cast them in a urethane resin, they would be more UV stable and have better casting/release properties. I've had good performance from Smooth-on products.

                  Bill.

Smooth-On products are excellent, have used their products for years. Used Econ-80 this time around for the molds. I have too much black potting epoxy with excellent properties and releases very easily with some release wax and some PVA in the molds.
Urethane would be better, maybe in the future.

If you can get a hold of an arm cup with a flat base (like the ones from Bulgaria, and used on the Golden Mask) you can attach this directly to the top of either the control box or battery case, and then bolt it through the stem.

There's a lot of different things you can use, that's the fun of being a Do it yourselfer.
I cast my own in the design I chose for functionality and for cosmetic reasons.
Thought I would offer them to others if they wanted something different since making two more molds.
Had to use up the remainder of my molding material before one part went solid. Limited shelf life once the containers are opened.
Learned the hard way once before and threw away $50 of hardened material.
So this time I made up two more spacer molds...just couldn't think of anything else to make a mold of....

The advantage of your spacers is that you can position the control box wherever you want, and you're not restricted to placing it under the arm cup.
