            • Full Refund if you don't receive your order
            • Full or Partial Refund , if the item is not as described "

Buying in past couple of times from AliExpress without serious issue (maybe I was lucky one).
But I am still very reserved and in doubt on validity their mostly unsecured
payment methods as Western Union, TT, Bank Transfer, credit cards etc.
Mostly no safe way (as known with Paypal) possible with AliExpress.
I arranged couple of times Paypal payment as exception only.

After buying hundreds of times, I find Aliexpress Buyer protection excellent. Use Alipay.

                Thanks for your experience Tinkerer.

But, if something go wrong .... did you have experience with cases as:

                • Full Refund, if you don't receive your order
                • Full or Partial Refund , if the item is not as described ?

Paying through Paypal is the main obstacle.

Over time, it turned out that about 2% of the orders either got damaged during shipping, or got lost or very seldom, not as described. Every time a full refund was made within a few days after a "dispute" was registered with aliexpress. I came to trust aliexpress totally.

Until now, I have good experiences with AliExpress, also Paypal is possible, with small extra fee.

I have had good luck with Tayda. They have a good selection of capacitors, pots, knobs, trimmers, transistors and some op-amps. They ship from Asia and the US, take credit card or PayPal.

we buy lots of stuff from aleexpress and they have effective refund PROCEDURE for defective and no goods but nothing to compensate inferior goods or loss of time, mental frustration etc. The issue here for dummies (like my goodself) is to receive quality components (most dont even have all md components) against visa card payment in us$.
