  • Looking for a CZ7a Pro front panel

    Hello,

I'm (rather desperately) looking for a CZ7a Pro front panel. Fisherlabs do not sell the spare parts any more for this 20+ yo machine. So, if anybody has a dead CZ7a Pro, please make an offer.

    Best regards from France,

    Brinbrin

    Sorry to hear that.

Hope that PRESET button is still working, so you can search with basic settings.

At least (in need) you can find inside PRESET contacts and put outside mechanical switch for PRESET way of searching.

Good luck with your front panel foil.

In fact, it's one of my older (and beloved) machines I'd like to revive. I still can use it, but in "All Metals" mode only. I investigated the failure, and the PCB is cracked, along with the plastic frame underneath. That seems to have been a known weakness of this machine.

Another way to do it would be to interface the main PCB with an arduino or a raspberry pi. Doable I guess, but a longer term project.

      Thanks for your reply.

You can repair the PCB, track by track, and seal with epoxy. It takes a lot of patience and fine work, but it is doable.
