I have a Gary's Pulse Induction Metal detector with completed circuit board and mounted in a box that I would like to sell. It works great! It has great detection range with a 15 inch coil. It does not have the 555 timer for the headphones as I am using a meter. Sale includes the pluggin meter. I'll even throw in a coil but it needs to be mounted and wound with metal tape to get rid of local noise etc. I run it off a small 12 volt gelcell battery.
If anyone wants a good PI metal detector this is it. I am very impressed by Gary's circuit. Send email to above it you are interested.
Reason for sale, I have developed a modified version that runs off PIC microcontrollers using the PIC12F675 for controlling the pulse to the coil and the data collection pulse. It also has another PIC controlling the output to the headphones/speaker.
