If you own a Garrett Ace series then this rain cover is a must, because touch pads on any detector are very sensitive to the elements. When you’re hunting and the wind and sand is blowing, or all of a sudden it starts to rain, the heavy duty vinyl will protect the box; also because of the clear plastic you are still able to touch the buttons on the front with no problem. The clear plastic still lets you control the machine with out any problems.
