The GULFSTREAM ROSE (ex R/V EXPLORER) is in need of a Geometrics 880. The search area is the lower Bahamas, the target is cannons and anchors, the depth is 15-120 fsw. This vessel appeared in the book "Shipwreck' by David Horner, when it worked the CAPITANA wreck off Ecuador. It has successfully recovered artifacts in Panama, Serrana Banks, Mexico and the Bahamas. It has now been converted from a salvage vessel to a USCG passenger vessel and carries up to 22 fever ridden divers intent on finding the next ATOCHA. We will comb the northern edge of the Old Bahama Channel on ten day trips out of Nassau. Each diver has the opportunity to file admiralty salvage claims on whatever is found. The vessel is set up to accommodate one couple per cabin. The many planned shipboard activities and shore trips will keep the non-diving little lady happy and occupied while hubby is pinned to the sea floor by our two powerful 44 inch mailboxes. In order for this to happen though, we need a mag with a 232c port which will stream data to the 50 inch plama screen monitor located in the salon. Any leads on a Geometric would be most appreciated. 239-989-5914
