I am totally gobsmacked. So far not one offer; not even for a tenner. Possibly this detector, so expertly designed and built has no interest whatsoever? It is almost an insult to its designer and builder.
Perhaps someone will show some interest in the future....next month, 6 months from now, longer?
    Regards,
    Rog

It's very possible that many denizens don't look at the Buy-Sell-Trade forum, it's rarely used. Personally, I always view the forums through "Last 24 Hrs" but others may not. I wouldn't mind trying out a Crossbow but I still have over 100 detectors so I'm being very choosy about what I consider. And I'm also no longer near the coast. Maybe try Steve Herschbach's forum, lots of PI guys hang out there.

Links to some photos always helps sell niche machines, I think.
You need to give some guidance as to what kind of price you're after. It's well known that many owners / sellers think this machine commands a price well in excess of its original sale price; but others are more inclined to think it's just a secondhand detector, and should be priced accordingly.
Also, you need to say you are in the United Kingdom. This affects issues like postage / carriage charges, and import taxes / duties, especially now the UK in not an EU member.
And as Carl says, the detectorprospector.com forum is also worth trying.

Thank you both for sound advice etc. I cannot edit my original post like can be done on other forums.
If you were in UK Carl, you could have had a loan of it to try it out.
          Regards everyone,
          Rog

Steve H. has had spam / bot issues recently, so new members are now restricted:
"New members now have limited access. There is no access to downloads or posting classifieds until after 10 posts and 30 days"
            So a bit restrictive, unfortunately.
Ebay UK would be the best place to list it, if it weren't for their fees. I get special "low commission fee" promotions quite regularly, but not everyone does.

Off topic, but searching everywhere on the globe for a Whites TDI SL and am prepared to pay the import duty and VAT into UK, but no luck so far. If anyone reads this and can help, I would be so grateful. This is clutching at straws haha.
              Regards,
              Rog

                    Thanks both,
I bought that TDI BeachHunter on Preloved on the 11th April. The seller has not removed the advert.
The ebay item has been listed a few times.but there is no international shipping offered. I have had correspondence with the seller in the past. Shipping for example from the USA could cost between £250 and over £300 depending on purchase price, shipping cost and insurance cost.
There is a website where you enter a commodity code (hobby detectors is 8543709099) and this is the online calculator:
                    https://www.simplyduty.com/import-calculator/
I also use a facebook worldwide search website.
                    Regards,
                    Rog
