I just bought one from Pro/stock Detectors . I saw it on his web site and grabed it. It was a "6B" for a series II 6000-D. It was in like new condition . Let me know what you are going to do with it. Are you a cache hunter?
Thanks for the answer.
Tried twice to send an answer and keep running into this
image verification thing???
I have a Blue Max 256 10 1/2 inch coil and am looking
around an old robbery cache area.
I once found a $5 - 1885-S Gold piece on an old farm
cache location.
Thought I'd try the 15 inch also.
Do you want to sell yours ?
I have a White's 5500 series 2.
Jim, I just joined thw Geotec forum, looks like "my kind of people". I had a little trouble yesterday with the image verification thing. Maybe it was just a glich or maybe my fault? I am trying to get my equipment ready for spring. I'm currently into cache and relic hunting. My main machine is a 3D-501 two box and I use the 6000D S2 for a backup and for smaller objects. I was using a 10" coil and thought the 15" might be an improvment? No,it's not for sale.Did you ck. Pro? I think he had a second one? If you run into a 15" coil cover for it pls. let me know. I've tried all over but can't find one. The $5 gold piece was a great find! Was it just lost or was it hidden in a container or something? Joe
The Gold piece I found was right where an old log house
had been. It was only about 4-5 inches deep right below
grass roots, but was mint, with no wear.
I talked to Al with no luck, maybe later he can help.
Thanks for the info on the gold coin. That is a really sweet find! I live on the N.Y. Border about halfway up in CT. Lots of good places for Cache and relic hunting. Can't wait for the snow to melt! Joe
