  • Fisher F2 Value

I have a Fisher F2 that is new and never been used in the field. I bought it on ebay and it came to me last year DOA. I had it replaced and was going to use it for parts. that is how I came to this forum. I found out how to open the casing by peeling the touch pad up and unscrew the holding screws. Low and behold it just had a wire that was not soldered to the circuit board. I do electrical soldering for RC gadgets and soldered back on board and now I find myself with 2 working F2. this one just has rippling where I opened it up and functions perfectly now. I am not sure to put it on ebay or can anyone give me an Idea of what this would sell for. Or if someone would give me a decent offer I will sell it. I know this is a tech forum and most know what it would be worth even though it is a basic no frill detector with a 9 inch open coil.

just floating it out there here first, this is where I got the great info on how to get it open. strangely Fisher has an odd way of closing this puppy up with access through the front under a sticky touch pad, oh well thanks.

Left second one for spare parts or to lent it to your girlfriend for detecting together. Such repaired worth about $111.11.

In the U.K, they usually fetch 120 Pounds Sterling in little-used condition.

        Thanks For replies

Thank you for the input, best keep for spare or loaner for detecting outings. Buy the time I post and ship on ebay 100 bucks would be spent on time and effort.
