    Thanks for the help.
I use a programmer. In PikCit2 I put VDD to automatic.
    I changed the configurations bits on 3FFE. C9FC not. Only 0 - or 1 - or 2 - or 39FC. I leave it at 09FC.
Now the circuit gubt a tone of it. Pic of the pulses. But I do not think so as it should. Connected with the coil, no change of tone.
The following measurements with a simple PC mini Oscope I did:

I have 2 pickit's real ver 2 and china clone of ver3, when I first tried to program the 1840 I got error messages see post #5
but I cannot remember which pickit I tried at that time, but after now just reading B1's post were he used the ver 3 and it worked ok, I tried
pickit ver 3 and mplab ide 8.76, with config bits set in code ticked and it programmed ok , no error messages, just got to test it.

                    Hi B1
I have not had the time to test the 1840 yet, I hope soon.

I dont quite understand your question about C3 in the PI4
on the schematic it shows as 1nF
its not on the parts list on page 190, but it on both the DIP PCB and the SMT PCB.

ah that was suspect to me

                      partlist contains not c3
                      shematic has c3

so i fit in a 1nf and will finish my smd layout
                      will upload the next days

hope we can discuss more about it and compare our pictures from oszilloscope

got the Info from somebody here how to Import gerber files into sprintlayout
make the conversion from eagle to sprint a little bit easier
