I never believed that the LUE was a bonefide treasure site myself. But again, I could be wrong myself. I personally stuck with bonefide locations in Colorado and went to them with my International Pickup 4.4 outfit myself. That way I was spending my time on a well advertised location in Colorado... I was not known for chasing "will of the wisps" treasure locations... I spent my own time in Cripple Creek Mining District and the Central City and Blackhawk Mining Districts. I own MINING Water Right #2 in the CC Mining and Blackhawk Mining District! Other then those two main ones, I did visit some odd ball sites here and there... One was further west off of the main highway from Colorado Springs to the highway that went north to Leadville......I cannot remember its name now but I used to go there years ago as well... I liked to pick a mining town, famous for its gold and/or silver mines, and go there, rather then chase an TREASURE STORY!!!!!!!! Now I did spend time researching a lot of TREASURE STORIES but did not go and spend time chasing those old stories. I liked the MINING TOWNS myself..... There were a heck of a lot of guys writing booklets about Treasure Stories, and while they were very interesting to read, not sure that most of them were valid stories...Now they might have been, but they were writers of STORIES and one has to keep that in mind before one begins to chase story after story. I was an HISTORIAN, researched a MINING TOWN or MINING DISTRICT, then went to those ones. I had maps of the places, and camped there on several of them... I ended up owning property in several of the mining districts, sold all but the last one which I still own in the CC and Blackhawk Mining District. It is a stone's throw from a very successful gambling CASINO you see! It has Mining water right #2 for the state of Colorado, and it is for sale if anyone wants to buy it...
Now with that MINING RIGHT, one I was told by the department of Water Rights, could apply for COLORADO WATER RIGHT #2 in the state of Colorado, and most likely get it, and use it... But at my age, it is not of interest to me, years ago I would have went for it........I would take $15,000 for the deed to it, and the Mining Water Right #2. The mining water right #2 is on the land, but one could apply for Colorado Water Right #2 and take it to any place inside the State of Colorado. Not guaranting that possible water right, but it is a great possiblity for an investor. I myself am 90+ years old now you see......... I put a map of the Black Hawk area, with the red circle dots showing where my mining land is approximately located at.......One would have to do a iron stake survey location to nail down the actual property stakes though, so only keep that in mind before chasing it... From all apperarances it is across the street from a gambling casino, It is on the side of the mountain, so excavation is necessary to build a construction site for a building. A possilbe building could be a possible gambling casino, but one would have to first get a building permit at the Black Hawk department for building permits. Now the mining right, is on the property land. HOWEVER, the State of Colorado water right, is usually in ANY WHERE in the state of Colorado. So If you wanted to build something some where in the State of Colorado, you owning my land, could apply for and obtain a water right #2 where you wanted to build the building........... That makes my land very valuable for a investor!!!!!!!!!
I believe it is right about several acres of fee simple mining property... It may even be a bit closer to the Black Hawk Casino by Hyatt then where the red dots are shown located.........If you are interested, I have old ancient mining photos of various locations nearby I could send you frorm [email protected] email address...Do not use other then my email address if trying to contact me....It abuts Highway 119 and goes NE over and across that dirt road to the northeast of the site...There are gambling casions all over the Central City area and the Black Hawk areas today so the price is a bargain price. I do not need the money, but need to sell it for CASH offer. Beyon that, I do not even answer any inquiries..............Since I never did a iron stake survey, I only sell it by Quit Claim Deed. But the City of Black Hawk wanted to buy it but they made a crazy lousy offer and I just threw it away and never responded to their stupid offer. I got my deed from Clear Creek County and it is a valid deed...I just throw dumb offers away in the trash can and do not respond to stupid offers...The price for $15,000 is a firm price of mine...Now imagine, a gambling casino, or a restaurant or what ever, is a strong possibility. Black Hawk knows about the property, as they own one very near to my acreage...
