Radio Shack. Was a great place. Gone! No longer in local business, for a while, was selling via mail order. What is happening AMERICA??? Why are good businesses no longer in business? I used to run businesses myself. Made money with them. Sears Roebuck? Gone today. Montgomery Wards? Gone today. Radio Shack? Gone today. Target? Gone today. What is happening in America. Imports from China???. Junk all over in the stores today still in business.
ME? I used to work early in my life, for old time Department Stores!! I measured men, even measured the good looking girls who wanted to wear guys Levi Jeans. I measured men for suits, sport coats, had them tailor made by TAILORS. Womens clothing? Measured them, used Seamstresses!!! Today it is junk for sale out there. Anyone want to comment? Am I going to be the only one *****ing here? I sold LEATHER shoes, not plastic ones. They had leather INSIDE the shoes, and inside the boots. I still got mine! LEATHER LINED!!!! Smooth on my feet. Tailored suits. Got mine yet! Tailored sports coats and tailored pants. Got mine yet. Leather LINED Cowboy boots? Got mine yet! Got mine yet! I do wear other shoes, but save my leather ones for dress up days.
Kay Modgling???????? She was featured in Compass ADVERTISING. Was a nurse. Had some health problems. Took up metal detecting. Used old time Compass TR metal detectors. Worked the West coast beaches. Found thousands and thoursands of coins, rings, lockets, broaches, necklaces, etc. Passed away. Husband? Yes, he passed away now too. Gone today! I never knew her, read about her, did a booklet about her. Loved reading what she found and what she did. She DUG EVERY Signal!!!!!! Want to read what I wrote about her??? I will attach it below.
