I used to strip gold and platinum from plated PCBs......Got somewhere between 20 and 30 ounces in this photo....Can I say I have done almost everything and found
almost everything????????????????????????????? born in the GREAT DEPRESSION, I lived with my parents, and they lived with Grandp and Grandma out on their farm. We drove a 1928 Ford Coupe, no back
seat in it, just open the rear trunk, and it had a RUMBLE SEAT in the trunk. So if you had more kids then you could put inside the cab, out back they rode!!!!!! Poor? We were poor, but
we raised food on the farm, we had a 5 acre vegetable garden. WE had fruit trees that we picked fruit off the trees. Money? We had no money to speak off. The town bank went
belly UP and closed their doors, Grandpa and Grandma lost all of their money in the closing of that bank. So keep that all in mind, when you go out metal detecting. People
BURIED their money, buried the paper money, buried even the COINS! Where did they bury it? Near something like a tree or a fence post, so they could find it again. Near the corner
of a house, out in the barn, out in the chicken yard! Anywhere you could find it. Revenuers???????? Yep!! Farm people made their own beer and made their own whiskey and wine.
They grew their own vegetables and fruit, raised their own cattle for meat and raised pigs and lambs, which they butchered in front of the old double tall barn! Why? They had a
winch on the door way is why!!!!! Hung the animal in the doorway and butchered it. I am speaking of my own families you see. But they all did the same things!
So when you go to metal detect an old farm or large yard, remember my words! Dont discriminate as it rejects good along with bad trash...
