I moved from the Petrified Forest and Painted Desert Monument, which a few months later became a National Park, to Hollywood California. Why? I met a New York stage and screen actress who kept writing me and I wanted to meet her...So I moved to Hollywood.... Went to places looking for a job, one told Ronald Reagan about me, and I ended up on the telephone speaking to Ronald Reagan and his wife on an accessory phone, and he was the nicest man to me
and this was while he was still an Hollywood star. He was from Iowa, was a humble person too!! Nancy Reagan was nice too.......It was like they were my friends... Now I not only like President Reagan, I loved meeting him!!! I only met Ronald Reagan and Nancy Reagan on the telephone in August 1961.... Never met them in person you see. But I told him I was from Nebraska, and he told me he was from Iowa, and we chatted here and there...Very, very, very nice people the two were!!!!!!!! Why did I mention Ronnie and Nancy??? My father in law flew the JAP ZERO fighter plane later on, in 1944 for the First Motion Picture Group, which Is another of my stories..........

My wife had a biological grandmother, named Eva Dutton, and she knew people who were important. I never met them myself. One I did meet was Uncle John Cromwell Dutton, he was the brother of my wifes biological dad, I tracked him down after my wife's mother died. She had divorced Dutton C. Dutton, who had a nick name of Fred Dutton. Never met him myself, wife remembered seeing him get on a train when she was 3 years old, and never saw him again in her life...He was a B17 bomber pilot during WWII, stationed in North Africa, and was a friend of General Dwight David Eisenhower. Now he is known as IKE, and I never knew him myself, but I knew one of his brothers who lived in north Colorado. Met the brother in a Pontiac garage, and he told me all about IKE. I was an child of German emigrants, who in the 1700 emigrated to Russia, lived there a bit, then left and emigrated to America. We were called Volga Germans. So IKE did the same thing, his father and mother emigrated not to Russia, but went to Switzerland, from there to America. I guess I can call them SWISS GERMANS you see. They moved to Kansas, not to Nebraska, but are an nearby state to Nebraska you see...But first, the story behind the documents.....

Now the grandmother, lived in Denver, met Mamie Doud, and went to finishing school together, and were BEST FRIENDS... Dont believe me??? I got evidence............Ike and Mamie Doud Eisenhower, he was in 1952, running for President of the USA... Eva and some friends, were running an Eisenhower place in California, promoting Dwight D. Eisenhower for President of America.......

And, I said my father in law, was a B17 pilot, was a highly decorated bomber pilot, got every damn decoration except the Medal of Honor. True??? I got his story too... Its below!

and while it does not say what I said, what I said was true!! He is buried in Arlington National Cemetery, in an honored place........

Ronald Reagan, was inducted into the U.S. Army Air Force, and since he was a movie star, was sent to the First Motion Picture Unit, called the FMPU by those with it. He flew planes, with Clark Gable, Jimmy Stewart, and many many other movie stars. They made training films, and also made files for the American public, which we used to go to the movie theaters to watch the publicity films along with the main featured movie. In Alaska, the soldiers there on one of the islands, captured JAP ZERO fighter plane. It was made TOP SECRET, as America did not want Japan to know we captured the super new fighter plane being used by Japan. The plane was sent to a air field in New Jersey, flown in all kinds of test attempts, diving, climbing, etc, etc, etc..... Kept secret. Taken apart, engine and airplane taken apart, then put back again in secret, then flown to an U.S. Air Base in Calif, kept in its own hanger....

My wifes biological dad, was sent by General Eisenhower, to the FMPU, to fly the Jap Zero airplane, in a training film, with purportedly Capt Ronald Reagan at the controls. Now the FMPU, not sure if it is still alive, it is still there, I corresponded with the film person, he interviewed me, sent me a copy of JAP ZERO MOVIE, I watch it, still got it...Fred flew the airplane, flew the replicas for closeups, didnot want closeups of the actual Jap Zero, as it was

And first of all, the "winning candidate', is the Presidential person, has both the House of Representatives at his disposal, and also the Senate at his disposal, and the Presidency. And he ended his talk, with GOD;s Blessing for the nation and for everyone. I like hearing such words myself. I think and hope America will end up being better off. I am not a person who works for either Political Party, Republicans or Democrats, I work for HIM! Now I want to make clear, I am not a Repubican, nor am I a Democrat, last time I voted I was an Independent. And it has been years since I last voted. Now don't scold me, I serve the HIGHER ONE! I pray for AMERICA myself... HE said, "Judge not, lest yee be judged"! I sure as heck do not want HIM to judge me... So I judge no one myself. I will pray for, and will expect, that all politicians work for AMERICA, and not for money or fame. Now I would, but others????? I will see if they do...

Now if you read this, not very large of a file, you will see that when I said LIKED Ronald Reagan, AND Nancy Reagan, you will grasp the fact "both were as nice of people's you would ever want to meet!!!!!!!!!!!'

Both were down to earth people, and America was blessed to have both of them working for America!!!!! I am thinking, not knowing the new President, that he will work, with the House and the Senate, FOR AMERICA... I give him the benefit of the doubt! And I will pray for HIm and for AMERICA!!! And those three (President, House, and Senate) ALL need ALL of our PRAYERS!!! I hope he does WHAT his cap says HE wants to do...........If he does, AMERICA may end up GREAT AGAIN!!!!!!!! If any of us, has the chance to work for AMERICA. lets do it with joy and dedication!!!!!!! and as far as IKE was concerned, here was a letter IKE wrote himself, showing he was just as NICE as Ronald Reagan!!!

Hey, I loved IKE just as much as I loved Ronald Reagan and Nancy Reagan.........................You and I must know, IKE did not spend all those minutes, and hours, and days working for AMERICA during WWII, just to please himself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now SAM F. Dutton, who either owned the hotel in downtown Denver, or leased it, it does not matter to me, either way. He gave Buffalo BILL CODY FREE ROOM and BOARD!!!! Never charged Buffalo Bill a dime.......... Buffalo was old, not in very good health when one is old you see, and I know this myself personally. So all Buffalo Bill could do, as HE did NOT have any money, he autographed an older photo of himself, gave it to Sam, as he loved and respected Sam Dutton. Now the autographed photos of Ike and Mamie, and of Buffalo, were in Uncle John Cromwell Duttons hands, and he passed away a few weeks ago. I took his hand, shook it, told Uncle John, "I will see you later in Heaven JOHN"! He had a hard time, speaking, he was 98 years old, he looked up into my eyes, said "I will see you too JERRY, in HEAVEN". I left, with my wife, he died a few days later in Laramie Wyo. He had a daughter, and a grandaughter, who I met, and I think they possess those autographed photos. Uncle John gave me those copies years and years ago when he met me at our home... So all of these things on the Duttons, came from Uncle John to myself years and years ago. Now I enhanced them, for better clarity. So enjoy them... You will not see these things any place but here, as I just posted them........

Did I know Sam F. Dutton? No, I did not, but Uncle John told me about SAM DUTTON. And he gave me the historical copies of the photos, which I enhanced, and stuck in this forum. You see, I myself
did not know the people, but I possessed the copies........ and now, you now see them just like I did when I enhanced them!!!!!!!!! Buffalo Bill, came from the WILD WILD WEST!!!!!!!!!!!!! And he lived with the garcious help of Sam F. Dutton in the old ANTLERS HOTEL in downtown Denver. Did he die there? Not sure, he did get sick, I think he died outside of the hotel somewhere else. I think it was in a relatives house if I recall the story now..........

Here is a night time photo of the old Albany Hotel, gone today, that room, right over the corner DOOR into the hotel, is where Buffalo Bill lived and stayed...... So there you see it! The story told to you, by myself, I am..........Ooops!!!!! Too large of an enhanced photo, could not stick it here, just imagine you can see it, the cornerof the Hotel building,sticking toward the corner of two streets intersection. and the windows above the front doorway, held BUFFALO BILL!!!!!!! And famous man! Do a search for his name if you have never heard of him!!!

Now the pilot, named PAUL MANTZ, who was the MaJor Paul Mantz, in charge of the First Motion Picture Unit, with Jack Warner, the owner of Warner Brothers movie studios and company, died filming a movie, in a crash of a military airplane, he taught Capt Dutton C. Dutton as a youth, to fly the old single engine airplanes, in the good old days. Jimmy Stewart was the main headline actor in that movie. That old airplane was like the old single engine airplanes from WWI days.....I knew who Mantz was, just wanted you to know who he was. Do a search for his name, and you will see how famous of a person Paul was....... That is why he was second in command, under Col. Jack Warner of the First Motion Picture Unit in Culver City California........... I am an HISTORIAN you see!!!!!!!! And this morning, I was a snow shoveler, trying to get my 1972 Chevy pickup with snow plow out from a stuck in the snow place. Had to get my neighbor with his larger pickup with 4x4 and diesel engine to pull it out up into my yard... Will be without an snow plow pickup until the spring of 2025 now you see........ 90 years old and I will be digging my butt off all winter long you see....So if I am not posting, think of old MELBETA out in the snow digging his butt off!!!!!!!!!! But I can do it, I am a strong son of a ***** guy. I began to work at 9 years old of age..............I drove an old 1937 farm truck, and then on to an old tractor, and next i was crawling on my knees working row by row in field crops thinning and weeding the rows of crops taking out the doggone weeds........I removed duplicate crops, set them a few places away, wanted only one crop plant at a time in that space. Not two plants in one space... So did not destroy the removed plant, set it into a open space away from its original space you see......

My old Chevy pickup, was a 4x4 one, got stuck in the heavy snow trying to snow plow. Had to get the neighbor to pull me out of the snow. Not too much snow today, but a big snow storm tomorrow, so will be out shoveling snow today in preparation of the coming snow storm tomorrow... Do I have muscles??? I can tell you truthfully, "EVEN my MUSCLES have MUSCLES!!!" I used to room with the famous author, Edward Paul Abbey, and he had an old gray manual typewriter, he would sit in his bedroom, typing. Here Ed is sitting as a Fire Ranger and typing on FIRE ON THE MOUNTAIN book! Well for some reason, it would not let me stick the photo of Abbey typing........

Here below, is an enhanced photo of a Linotype machine. In 1954, I went to work melting down into LEAD PIGS, old Linootype PRINTING pieces. So after I was done melting ALL of those lead PRINTING TYPE, they said HE (myself) is a hell of a good working. So they brought me into the plant, and I was put onto an vintage (vintage today, not vintage when they put me on it), and I was printing BUSINESS CARDS, LETTER HEADS, and LETTER Envelopes. Now the platen, which holds the plate with the printing type, was moving all the time, and I had to time myself, time my hands and fingers, to hold one unprinted business card, take it QUICKLY, stick in between the moving PLATEN, and the also moving PLATE which held the lead printing type, stick in one unprinted business card, frantically pull my fingers and hand out of the possibility of being crushed between those two moving parts. It never caught my hand and fingers as I as a child, had a toy cap pistol, and I practiced FAST DRAWS, so If I ever met Billy the KID, I would be able to beat him to the draw!!!! I was so fast, on the second attempt, I pullled out the PRINTED BUSINESS CARD, with its fresh printed image of a persons name, phone, etc., etc..........

So when I printed 1,000 business cards, ONE AT A TIME, into the presentation business card cardboard box, they all were waiting for the purchaser in a day or two. Next job? I would print the Letter sheets, print on the top the name of the business, its address, phone number, any other images of the business, and then when I did 1,000 sheets, again ONE AT A TIME, I would put the all in the Letter Head sheet cardboard box, and on to the last job, 1,000 envelopes! Now since it has the flap on the rear, to seal the envelope, I had to cut out my backing, removing the flap, as the envelope REAL FLAP, would be inserted into the hole where the missing flap was removed. One at a time, each time evading that damn potential crushing of my hand and fingers, and let that damn Billy the Kid go for his gun, I was so fast the camera could not even take the photo of my hand, fingers, and my cap gun you see.

Here below is a photo of a printer, running the Linotype machine, that I ran back in 1954!!! Now the Linotype was NOT a one at a time printing machine, I loaded it with a stack of cards, or a stack of letter sheets, or a stack of envelopes, and turned that bugger on, and it did them one at a time for me... Only the old LETTER PRESS, with its top ink round piece, was the ******* machine, that intended to catch my hand and fingers, and crush the s*** out
of my hand and fingers.... They in the past, used to print newspapers on that Linotype printer. Today they have printing presses the size of Automobiles sitting on the floor, printing and squirting out newspaper sheet by newspaper sheet, and I used to have to crawl into them cleaning the dried ink out of those old smaller car presses back in 1954.......I am lucky to be alive today, as think if someone had flipped the on/off switch on that old newspaper press, years

What is the reason for this old story??? Well, I went metal detecting up in the mountains, in the old MINING AREA, called Cripple Creed Mining District!!! In an grassy meadow, I knew at one time, many many years before I was born,
there was a TOWN there, named and called ANNACONDA. Gone today back then, when I was metal detecting. There was a kind of a hill of dirt, so all around the base of it, I was finding and pulling up SINGLE LEAD TYPE pieces, one at a time. I knew there must have been some kind of old letter press there years ago. Then bang, up from the ground, came a LEAD PLATE, with an image on it...........Now simetimes I found them, not in lead, but in COPPER, or
in some other BRONZE pieces, but this one for Annaconda was an LEAD ONE!!! Now behing this computer, I got a second table, with another computer, with a scanner on it.........
Got to stop now, other Win XP computer, will not boot up and run, and it has the downloads inside it..... I think wife took vacuum cleaner to it to clean the dust up and out of it. Dang it!!!!!!! It keeps asking for Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 CD and I do not have it anywhere. Got to find it, and put it on CD, then get it running again!

I managed to copy the 8 photos on the floppy disk, but cannot see them right now, but am going to paste all 8 photos in a CD disk, then see if I can find them to stick them into the forum! Only stuck in some, as some of those 8 photos are duplicate photos when I took them this morning with my old digital camera!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are lucky I got them from a floppy drive into this forum now!!!!!!!!!

Okay, got one photo from the floppy drive, in this posting. I used a metal detector on the base of that HILL OF DIRT, in the town of Annaconda years ago, and found this LEAD PLATE. Must have been either a Newspaper office there or some kind of printing company. So I took it to a guy in town, who was alive then, he grinned, and put it on a LETTER PRESS piece of wood. I took this photo this morning, it is in my digital camera, and I manged to get it into this posting about Annaconda. IT represents THE TOWN of ANNACONDA, way back in the 1800s, up on that grassy area, where the town is now gone!!!!!!!!! Then he inked the LETTER PRESS in his printing shop, the shop was there years ago, gone today!!! HE stuck in a sheet of white paper, and printed the (hopefully) IMAGE from this LEAD PIECE!!! I got a shot of the image, now if I can only get it to show up in this posting!!!

there it is ABOVE, that town of ANNACONDA burned down to the ground in the year 1904. I just plucked it from an old floppy disk, and stuck it into this forum...Talk about LUCK!!! That day, I found some old coins, on the hill side, yes the town of Annaconda was built on a hill side, and I was standing on the bare ground there about 20 some or more years ago........ I will stick in another photo of the floppy, and then hopefully explain it....OH!! that decoration around the LARGE NAME, is the mining and railroad area, on the far left side, it sweeps around the TOWN SITE of ANNACONDA. Neat huh??? Some one stuck in the rail road tracks and the dirt road, into this printed image of ANACONDA. Just noticed it has only one A where I put two of then above...... It was named ANACONDA and burned down to the ground in the year 1904!!!!!!!!!!!! And I keep it in my computer room here which was a bedroom in the past... Only the wife and I live in this 8,000 SF house!!!!!!!!!

This was the front side of an OLD TOKEN from way before the 1904 fire that destroyed Annaconda up in the Mountains where it was before the fire. There are two BROAD SWORDS on each side of some initials, and what it was I have NO IDEA!!!! I took it to the AMERICAN NUMISMATIC ASSN MUSEUM, the expert there, had no idea what it was either... But he took this enlarged photo for me. Those initials are SHB, but what it stood for, and he was an coin and token EXPERT, he had no idea either... Now they have a museum there, and they took lots of photos of things I found with metal detectors, and they have my name there in the MUSEUM, and every one wants to know who in the HELL is this MELBETA guy!!!!!!!!I keep my birth name a mystery you see, as I am chased by scammers all over the place!!!

Here is a second photo, from another angle, and we now noticed a LARGE "P" is stamped into this token as well, and the SHB is stamped on TOP of that "P" letter. What it is, neither one of us knew at that time when these old photos were taken by the Historian at the Museum!!!!! Now broad swords are really old, from way back in the 1700s and further back. So was it connected with the town??? Neither HE nor I, believe it was!!!! It was lost by some old EXPLORERS we think!!!!!!! What is the rest of the story? I will be damned if HE or MYSELF know.........Maybe someone out in the forum has a CLUE???????????????????????? We think someone panned it up in Cripple Creek Mining District, then stamped it with a P and then stamped it with a SHB and the broadswords. WHY??? Don't have a clue, not a normal TOKEN, is something else we think.......I am MELBETA and i found it with a Bounty Hunter Big Bud Pro SE PLUS metal detector that day I was up in the that mining area....It was deep, but I was persistent and brought it up from that hill of dirt................
