  • Bill Mahans Treasure World 1967-1968

Here we have some highly sought after Bill Mahans Treasure World issues. These rate a 10 on the rarity scale of 1-10 with 10 being the rarest. This is a tough series to find and put together. There are actually 11 issues, but one is extremely scarce practically unknown these days, its the very first issue called "Number One" It rates a 10.5 rarity! If any one has an issue, we would love to see a scan posted! Its supposed to have a cover with civil war artifacts on the front. Also , Ive included a DTex metal detector catalog as the last image, and its sort of a go with issue for these mags. Bill Mahan was a pioneering father in the metal detector industry and a great Treasure Hunter!

Dtex catalog will be the next post above this one. Only 10 issues/photos can be uploaded at once. All images must be hosted in JPEG format, BMPs will not upload at all, and your machine will just sit there and spin. Your pics should upload within a few minutes depending on your ISP connection speed. I have DSL and these 10 images went up in under a minute of upload time.

Bill Mahan's number one issue is posted on my site, free

[I] have a copy of number 1, Bill Mahan's World of Treasure. You can copy it, it is very rare and I have seen only three issues in my collecting life. I have been collecting for forty years.

          Hi Jim,

Is EOE still around? I see that the web site has disappeared.

Yes, it is with Treasure Research Library. Hunter has placed the EOE Library in storage and TRL has the magazines. EOE will never be again as Hunter shows no interest in it at this time. Treasure Research Library is on the internet as a contact web site for both. Low profile is the way of the future.
