  • Another research resource

Earth Ocean Explorations is a museum and library for treasure hunting. I met the guys who run this at the Texas Treasure Show a couple of years ago. Their goal is to have a standing library with every treasure magazine ever published. I suspect Mark is ahead of them! They also want to build searchable databases for all the mags.

So if you're looking for a hard-to-find article or issue, try these guys.

Carl; There is a CD database available from (I believe) Amazon.com that goes back to the 1800's. I believe the most recient version is around $750.00 but it is the most complete listing I have ever seen advertised. (I have never seen the actual CD)

      Re: treasure magazines wanted

Can anyone provide copies of Uncommon Sense by E. Ernie Webb? Anything of or by the Circle of Companions? Anything from the von Mueller PATH Guild? Tabloids like Association, T.H.A. Treasure Hunters News, In the Steps of the Treasure Hunters, 8 States Associates, Treasure Hunting Unlimited, Exanimo Express, Treasure Hunters Express, Research Unlimited, Southeastern Adventurer by Lee Hurtado, the Institute? Copies of the United Dowsers Association magazine by Sam Wolfe? Old book lists from Ed Bartholomew, Foul Anchor Archives, etc. Copies of National Prospectors Gazette before Volume 6 # 1? Old club membership rosters for the Prospectors Club or other multistate organizations of the 50s and 60s. (Have primo traders for those) Best Regards, Harley Bissell
