Sir, If you seek to purchase them I have no leads. If you seek to find and read them for scholarly research I suggest a visit with the reference librarian at your closest university. Ask to be shown the Union list for that title and you will have a list of everywhere you can consult them. Sometimes available inter-libary loan sometimes not. Best Regards, Harley Bissell

Hello Dr. Swearingen, I went through my box of readers and found six magazines that meet your request. I have Desert Magazine issues July 1955, August 1955, October 1955, November 1955, December 1955 (no front cover), March 1957. Note that all of the 1955 issues have a small 3/16 inch hole in the top left corner. What do you have for trade? Prefer the treasure tabloids like Association but would take any treasure magazine that I am missing. Best Regards, Harley Bissell

A few months ago there were many lots offered on eBay by a former Editor of Desert Magazine. He had very early copies listed. Although I have not looked on eBay recently, you may still be able to find his name and seek him out for others. Good Luck. Since the demise of this wonderful magazine, prices for any issue have increased.

I have a complete 1940 volume of the Desert Magazine, in fair condition, except the November issue has some water damage.
I also have misc issues dating from 1955 to the last issue. Some complete volumes.
