  • DOES GPR TELL THE TRUE ??

Hi,guys. You`re talking about GPR system,i`m interesed in this subject. I do not know much about it,but i`m agree with our colleague above ,it`s an expensive trash most likely.I`ve been searched for trove since 15 years ,still nothing. That`s because of all metal detectors. I mean no one of them tells the true,i had to dig up a lot of garbages like lids of jars ,beer caps and so on. I`m not sure even exist right metal detector.I wanna buy one ,but now I`m getting confuse, not even know which one, just i know that.It must be enough accurate to tells me:
    1. The difference between metals, which is gold/ silver /iron/ rusty nails /foils of cigarettes. The problems with metal detectors are they do not tell difference between gold / silver / brass/ copper. The rust is a big problem too, sounds like a gold or silver and displays same. Anyway maybe i`m not so right.
    2. The depth is a very important factor too.
I want it to detect one coin at least 27-32 inch. lower than this does not make sense, people make a lot of pollution on the surface. I want to use it fot graves and uphills and stuff like this, not only for coins.I`d like to buy one with max. depth of 6-15m. but for smaller items like a helmet, not items big as a car. Small item , a big probe (depth)thats I need. Help me guys any idea about what kind of detector or GPR I have to buy.Actually I`ve never worked with GPR unit so I have no idea how they do work ,good or bad.Do they tell the true? I took a look at accuratelocators web site and futuretreasure.com I liked two or three gpr. They are: Localizer 3000 Pro Plus and the Earth Imaging System Explorer 3000 (GPR. How can I give 20-30 grands for something when i do not trust at these all sellers from this metal detector sites. No refund ,that`s too bad either. Help me out guys I do not know what to do with all this. When I asked them about details of gpr ,they responded me YES,YES YES.according to them GPR is the best one,but I do not believe that.

    Thanks guys.

Nick, GPR's do show anomaly's in the ground. GPR's do not tell you nor are you able to tell what the item may be. A varity of antenna's are required for the differnt depth's.These antenna's cost in the 1000.00's. The sites I would recommend www.gssi.com & www.sensors & software.com .
