Thanks for the fast answer Melbeta,
I have searched A LOT for that coin, my eyes hurt to search on huge databases for one familiar to it and none of them that show it knows what that coin is.
Some told me it worths some ***** some told me it works a small fortune.
Some told me its young alexander, other young cezar or apollo.. i dont know..
For one thing they where all sure that is rare.
That is the reason i post it here on the forum i trust to hear your opinions too.
Again thanks for your replay, waiting for more feedback.
A.

I can get it identified for you, but to do that, I will need better photos of the coin, without your fingers in the photo. I am very knowledgable regarding coins, just not that knowledgable regarding ancient coins from the 600 BC to 100 BC time period. Where did you find it? What country did you find it in? What goodies were with the coin? You see, that can narrow it down.
Alexander the Great became King after his father was murdered, and Alexander used the image of Heracles (Hercules) on many of his coins. After Alexander died, many of the Hellenic and other countries used the image of Alexander himself on the coins, and what you have appears to be HIS image, the image has the nose of Alexander, and the fern across his ears and brow, is Greek Hellenic influence.
I will send what you have posted, to an expert who will know what it is, but probably he will want better photos, so you might do that in the meantime. I will send it off today with the limited photos, and see what he says.
