Anyone with info, manual, value? Worth saving in original condition vs stripping out electronics & coil to build another detector? Would consider trading for quality non-working arm rest model more suitable for project. Seems to work ok.

I have one but no manual. Not worth a lot, maybe $50 on eBay. I think it would make a pretty lousy base for a project, it's pretty limiting. If you want a better project enclosure I might have something way more useful.

I would need to attach a box to the underside to hold boards, controls and batteries. It would be a "research" detector that would change over time. Something like the box on the cover of ITMD, only bigger.
