  • Whites 6000Di Series3

This detector is in near perfect condition. No scratches anywhere and the larger coil has never been used. I acquired this one recently but it was my very first detector back in the 80s.

    White's 6000 Di Series 3---

What size is the large coil and do you know what frequency
    it operates at ?

    Thanks

Looks like the 15" coil. 6.59kHz... I think all White's analog detectors have used the same frequency since the 6DB in 1977.

I also thought it was a 15 inch but it turns out to be a 12 inch coil

          12" Coil

          I must be slipping because I don't remember seeing a 12"6B coil,only a 10" and 15". Joe

It measures just under 11 inches. So, I guess that does make it a 10 inch.
I should have checked before I posted. When I received the detector I was told that it was a 12.
Hope this clears it all up.

              12" 6B White's coil

              ruka,

No need to apologize. Yes the white's coil measures just under 11" so it would be easy to take it for a 12" coil. I was a White's dealer back when that machine came out and I didn"t remember any 12"coil. I just saw a 4" coil for that machine go for $66 on Ebay!!!!! Wow these old machines and accesories are sure going for some big bucks.
