  • PHASE READOUT GRADIOMETER

THIS MUST BE THE GRANDFATHER OF ALL TARGET IDENTIFICATION DETECTORS. Too bad that they went out of business for we may have seen improvements a lot sooner than what actually evolved in the development of the T. I. detector. I am interested in any paperwork such as ads, product reviews in treasure magazines, actual photos, instruction manuals, etc. Also looking for any PRG's in any type of condition. Email me at [email protected] Although it was clumsy, heavy at 7 lbs and would not handle mineralized ground very well I think that it opened the eyes of the other detector manufacturers at what could be made! I found many coins and rings with mine in an era of detectors that had trouble discriminating bottle caps and tinfoil !!!

The company didn't go out of business. See http://www.technos-inc.com. I have already asked if they still have any old info on the PRG, they don't. Also been looking for a PRG for 6 years, still haven't found one, for sale or not.

Hi Carl! What info do you have on the PRG? I may have info that you don't have and am wiling to share. I have an actual photo plus ads for it that were in the NTHL paper plus the instruction manual. I don't mind making copies of the above and sending it to you. The photo and ads are a quick fix but the instruction manual may take a while to find, it is buried in 35 years worth of Treasure magazines and books! Thanks

All I have are whatever ads might be in the old treasure mags. A copy of the manual would be nice...

Never heard back from him, I guess he wasn't too serious.

MELBETA posted a copy of the schematic that an reverse engineer traded to MELBETA. Go to MELBETA's sub-forum inside GeoTech Forum and read the heading and there is the PRG schematic!!!

On the PRG I do not have a copy. The manual however was copyrighted, and I do have the information on the copyright, so I guess one can get a copy of it from the Copyright office. I will post that info below my
                Melbeta name....
