    A.H. SUPERPRO V

Hi! I have owned 3 SuperPro's. Currently I still use a Superpro and a Pro-2. As far as I can tell the only difference between the SuperPro and Superpro V is a tone control which controls the pitch of the audio signal! The SuperPro is very sensitive to silver, brass and copper but not to nickels. I have found silver and wheat penney's in worked out parks. It doesn't have super depth maybe 6 inches on a silver dime. But it seems to be able to see through a lot of the trash maybe because of the small (6inch) loop! It is relatively light weight and is well balanced. Different objects seem to make it squeal differently. And there is no guessing if an object is deep- it is a weak signal and a very strong signal is normally a shallow object. Pinpointing is not a problem as it is a non-motion machine. Set-up and tuning is easy especially with the fine-tune knob on the end of the u-handle. If you need more details on set-up and tuning let me know! Joe

        To JimNM:

Sorry but as far as I know I'm one of the few that actually uses one! Most go to Collector's who don't care if it works or not!! I would like a copy of the Instruction Manual and would be gald to pay for shipping and copying cost!! Email me at [email protected] Thanks Joe

              TO UNREGISTERED: AH SUPERPRO

You really need to register and then you can be contacted a lot easier. I believe that JimNM sold or traded his SuperPro months ago. The best place to find one is on ebay but these are getting rare and only pop up every 3 or 4 months or so! Joe

                AH SUPER PRO-V

Could you please send me a hand book or any information you have on the Super Pro-V Metal Detector? My Grandfather left me two detectors. The other is a basic 2 knob, easy to work detector.
I have many memories of going to fair ground and dry lake beds with him while on summer break. I look forward to learning more. If you have any info I would be greatful to receive it.

                  SUPERPRO V

...DROZIE..................I sent you an email! Just in case, You did not get my email, I need you to post some pic's of the detectors involved especially pics of the control panel! This is mainly due to A&H made at least 2 different versions of this detector!!......................Again I do not own a SUPERPRO V, but believe that the only difference between it and my SUPERPRO IS A TONE CONTROL!!...................JOE

........CyberRosco......I have an Instruction Manual but it is just generic for all of the A&H Models...not a lot different than the Instruction Manual for similar brand name detectors such as the Garrett or Whites....I also have an A&H Pro booklet that highlights some of their models...not for sale... but I can either post them or send you a copy....Joe

Joe, do you know what the difference is between the Pro 2 and the Super Pro 2? Are they both sensitive for nickels & gold? Thanks.

...C Rosco....Sorry I Never had a Super Pro II.....so I can Not compare it to my Pro II.....not counting the Super Pro II and the Phantom....I have tried most of the AH Pro Line .....most are not Sensitive to the Nickel....most are highly sensitive to all of the higher conductives.....the Pro II is the only one that I know of that is sensitive about the same to the Nickels and higher conductives......evidently you got the Super Pro II that was recently on fee bay ??!!.....are you saying that it is Not sensitive to Nickels??...about the info/ brochures that I have on the AH Pro line...I will probably just post them to either this forum or the Compass forum....Joe
