I MISSED THIS ONE, it sold for $9.99 But they wanted $24.00 for shipping! Ouch!!! Also it had loose wires coming out of the control box, so it probably was non-working. Does any one know what the loose wires were supposed to attach to? Thanks Joe

I saw that one and also said "OUCH" when I saw the shipping charge.
The wires were not original. It was modified and my guess would be for an external battery pack. On most of the older detectors you had to remove screws and pull the housing apart to access the batteries. Not an easy thing to do in the field. It was one to bypass. The T-20's show up frequently so if you want one just keep watching.

Thanks. This was given to me and I would like any information on this model. Battery voltage or know anyone with a schematic or operations manual. I have tried to contact Fisher labs, but this must be way out of the line for them. Is this model used to locate plumbing pipes and wires or for treasure hunting, both?Comment

I will check out what I have and make copies for you. This was a regular hobby detector.
As for contacting Fisher it is hard to say what is going on with them at this point. They were pretty good in the past with answering my questions but with the change of ownership anything could happen now.
