OK, got it from the Bay the other day seems to work ok except the meter
is non op. Any ideas on how to fix it? This is an TR Master Hunter, with TR
on the loop, red handle type with meter adjust, tuning, volume knob and
uses 3 9 V batterys.........

MARK, first MAKE SURE ALL THE WIRES CONNECTING TO THE METER ARE STILL ATTACHED! These sometime come loose in shipping. Also this detector is probalbly close to 30 years old so some of the meters do become defective! Try ebay for some junk garrett detectors, the meters for the groundhog and deepseeker should also work on this detector and also try some junky Garrett TR detectors. Also if you want to use this out in the field the meter is not necessary in its performance! GOOD LUCK JOE
