This detector must have really been a sleeper! Not much written on it recently! It has 4 modes including a GEB MAX, GEB NORM, TR DISC, and GEB DISC. This is a very versatile detector! Relic Hunting can be done in the GEB modes while Beach Hunting can be done in the TR Disc and GEB Max Modes. With the 10 inch coil this is a deepseeker. A lot of people using the newer detectors are having a lot of problems pinpointing and with getting good depth. Also some of the newer detectors do not have a pinpoint or All-Metals Mode! So if you can't afford a newer detector but want to compete with the Big Boys try a 4900. It can be found at a reasonable cost!!! JOE..........still loving those oldies but goodies!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      White's 4900---

What frequency does it operate at?
      Wouldn't it be about the same as a White's 5000 series 2 ?

      Thanks
