  • C&G Wildcat

    Hello Folks,

I am hoping some of you could give me a little guidance...

I have a working C&G Wildcat that I bought new around 1972. Still in it's original box, with the original user manual (such that it was), with a 6" coil and a 10" coil.

I am not a collector, so lately I've been thinking about parting with it. Unfortunately, I have no idea what it is worth. I am not crazy about the whole eBay thing, and in fact would prefer a trade.

    My questions are...

Are there any commercial PI detectors that would be an equitable trade for the Wildcat??? I would hate to post it up for trade as such only to appear as an insult to a person's intelligence for even suggesting such a trade.

If I were to post it for sale, what would be a fair price?

    Thanks for your help...

    Re: C&G Wildcat

Vintage-Collector detectors are really hard to price especially right now! You can ask for offers! But really the best place to put it is on Ebay right now! For some unknown reason some vintage classic detectors are going for alot more than the normal price! Of course, there are no guarantees! A good P.I. especially if it is waterproof should be in the $150.00 to $200.00 or more range, I doubt if your detector would sell for that much so a trade may not work! Joe
