the arrow was drawn a little wrong, the diode is not there, another tv. technician removed the pieces and removed diode, and i dont know if is 1N5234 or 1N4735, I want to put the original parts to begin with,,,

That gray device with a black band just east of your arrow and between two resistors is likely a zener diode. Zener is a type of diode....there are many different types of diodes. The normal use for a zener diode is voltage regulation. They are normally operated in reverse bias....that is cathode is positive with respect to anode. The banded end of the diode is the cathode. Go here and read about them....

Those might be factory mods (or done with their instruction). There's not really a lot of us around willing to yank and replace parts like that esp. without a schematic!Comment
