Hi Folks,
I went today to look at an old vintage metal detector a guy said he had for sale but didn't know what make it was and asking 40 dollars for it.To my surprise it was a 1976 brand new still in the box whites Gold Master 66tr Discriminator with two coils. well I bought it thinking it might look cool hanging on the wall in my hobby room. After I got home I thought I would put batteries in her and see if it worked.... well to my surprise she work very well... so well I laughed my *** off
I may just use this thing once and awhile
. I can't believe how well the discrimination worked and the auto balance work like a charm. after and hour of use I did manage to find a dime and a penny in my yard that I had gone over with my other detectors hundreds of times. the discrimination will see though Iron. If you place a nail on a coin it will discriminate the Iron out and see the coin... my fisher F2 won't do that
So I'm happy with the purchase... a brand new piece of vintage whites History.
Cheers
