I found a project of a wireless metal detector on arduino with bluetooth - "Spirit PI" Wireless Metal Detector | N.E.C.O (neco-desarrollo.es)
How will bluetooth affect metal detection?

BT should have no effect.
I use wireless BT headphones on my HH2 without issues.

Headphones are far from the coil, but in this project the bluetooth transmitter is nearby from the coil and its power is more than 100mW

Bluetooth is 2.4GHz, I don't think that the coil receiver circuit will be sensitive in that frequency range!?
