I have read through the three books and I was interested in doing the Voodoo on the Nano. Has anyone tried that?

Just to try something more accessible, the Arduino Nano PI Project was designed with DipTrace, and the Arduino Nano VLF Project was designed with KiCAD.
Whatever eCAD package is used will never be right for everyone.

True. The ability to import different format exists in a variety of degrees in different packages. If a package is available for trial/free use, that helps.
I just bought the Nano VLF book (should arrive in two days).
I need to be able to identify the material of water service lines (if it is lead, copper or steel) and those are usually 4 ft into the ground. I think a hybrid PI with a 2 foot diameter coil for TX and a smaller coils for RX may work if I follow some of the findings from the four books. It is a lot to swallow for a newbie like me.
I think a synthesis of the technologies from the four is probably needed. For example, the best approach to get the +5V,-5V is probably in the Nano PI book. On the other hand, the Nano PI
probably does not do DISC the way the Voodoo does it. So between continual reading of the material in the books, diving into the their schematics, and getting advice in this forum, I feel somewhat positive!
Thanks for your helpful comments.

There's an Arduino adapter to replace the PIC in Voodoo, so you could use that as a guide.Last edited by Qiaozhi; 02-19-2024, 04:37 PM.
