Digga try RS components you can mail order online for free postage or they have a shop in melbourne
never bought direct from their shop, but online works ok for next day delivery.

Tayda Electronics have most of the obsolete parts like the TIP 127

you can use the TIP127 or IRF9640 both work well but the detector behaves differently

I believe Q3,Q5,Q7 can be the same device

7905 and 7805 will not fit the board correctly

My build on hold at the moment been out detecting and making an IDX coil

7660 I will be getting from ebay as it's not easy to find the ones that can tolerate the correct max voltage

the fet should run cool, may well be the mismatch between the coiltek and the barra that can make it run hot.
but normally the irf runs cool, the tip127 runs warmer(slightly), but neither should need a heatsink if it setup right.
i would wind a quick coil to the right barracuda specs and see if the heating dissapears.
