i think this could be misunderstood

the most project published here, are fully free and have good documention
remind that most here hobby electronics, so some infos are not the best but we are here to improove thinks and our own skills

so i a project have some little errors it is at your own to ask internet
most shemes of power regulator or timers are same equal you have a audio amp or a metal detector

my biggest failure in past was to dont read datasheets but you should

70percent of my diy detectors run at first set up
20percent later after i have corrected my own failures
and 10percent never because of early stage of try and error
but i often do new projects which are not 100% tested thats my own risk

Well forget about that schematic. I came across it and kept it as it is easy to read but it seems it came from some scammer who publishes fake
schematics and laughs when someone tries to use it. Sorry for publishing it here I didn't look closely at it before linking it...

Found a couple of mistakes. There may be others



Also the IRF9530 mosfet is only 100v. It should be IRF9630 or IRF9640 which are 200v

i got best results with tip127
baracuda has ability to pseudo discrimination if you turn delay down and threshold up you loose depth but it can detect an euro coin earlier the a iron bolt

also on the shematic sheet should be a list/ table of replacement components (mpf102 - bc256) or for 2n3819 ....

coil can also be smaller than 450µH, surf pi coil work also ok
