just wondering if anyone elese has went by the youtube video to complete thier circuit i did and it seems to be working but cant get very good range and also the video says that there are four diodes in the wrong places does anyone no if this is correct or if that could be my range problem thanks in advance

Mmine is a silverdog kit, correctly tuned it work well, the coil is important in the range result. With mine i use a whites 12" tdi dual field coil, it works better than my homemade coils, better stability and depth.

dont worry about diodes, in the project as it stands they are fine.
i have heard that they are the wrong way round before, but its absolute nonsense.

Thankyou for the response so i guess ill have to switch these parts back to original and see if that helps
