Can anyone please elaborate on the original or best on/off control for the 'cuda? I have pretty well read everything, and can't seem to find a definitive switch option. I realise an in-line switch on power is the simplest. According to the partslist the delay pot incorporates on/off. But according to the operating instructions sensitivity pot incorporates the on/off. However to further confuse things, the overlays have threshold, but not sensitivity. Is this the same description for this machine? As other designs sensitivity seem to be a VR into the op-amp(?)...
I am only a beginner, and have never wired up an on/off pot, so unsure if the switching terminals are separate to the pot or feed through, as I don't have the 10K on/offs yet.
I have all parts for the Silverdog except the (external delay) 10K on/off pot, and the 25k trimmers- I wasn't game to use another value-could I have?
I would prefer external delay/thresh/vol and sense, so any advice on external sensitivity pot setup would also be appreciated.
